Our Story
Palmitos Panamá S.A. was founded in 1998 with a two-fold mission: to promote regional agriculture and reforest the boundaries of the Panamá Canal Watershed by cultivating pixbae palm and then developing the first company in the country capable to produce heart of palm as an industry, able to export to different parts of the world.
We have been exporting since the third year of operation, accumulating experiences throughout the years in customer’s satisfaction and innovation with our products.
We are a company committed to contributing to the environment and society, we apply sustainable agriculture processes for heart of palm cultivation and since our opening we have directly contributed to the economic development of the community La Florida, Capira in Panamá. Working with more than 100 families of the community in our farm and industrial plant.
